Education and Research Media is an academic leader in the area of development of educational and research interactive media, targeting medical professionals in continuous education. We are a team of highly motivated managing producer-director and crew dedicated to providing the best products and services available in the medical industry. Our strength is generated from our commitment to the Trauma/Burn Division, our clients, and our dominance in the industry. The Education and Research Media Office is part the Division of Trauma and Burn and was established in the mid 90’s to support the faculty in the development of teaching modules. Our target audience includes physicians, fellows, residents, medical students and medical staff. We also extend our service to other departments and external clients including government and medical associations/societies to provide continuous medical education, and pharmaceutical companies who seek our expertise in developing training programs for their staff. We were the first of the UC campuses to recognize the importance of communicating to an audience with unlimited choices of state-of-the-art media available today and to incorporate those into a new experience in learning. These include logging on to our websites, or acquiring interactive CD-ROM’s and DVD’s from our production library in the same manner they would from bookstores. Education and Research Media is committed to providing the Trauma/Burn Division with high quality services while creating an enjoyable and productive working environment.
