 The Marines Have Landed! Minimize

The U.S. Marines from the 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, First Marine Division, Camp Pendleton, California are paying a visit to our Level I Trauma Center and Burn Center.  The purpose of their visit is to participate in the observer program to better understand the physical realities of trauma and burns.  This is an opportunity for these young marines to see the steps involved in treating gross physical injuries, which will better prepare them when they are confronted with injured military personnel in combat. UCSD Trauma Division is proud to help the marines with this invaluable training.
